Plate Journal provides a digital meal tracking and nutritional estimation tool. We use AI (Google Gemini) to estimate calories and nutritional information based on user-provided photos and descriptions. These estimates are approximate and should not be used as medical advice or strict dietary directives.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Privacy Policy

Your use of Plate Journal is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Specifically, the nutritional information and caloric estimates generated by our AI are approximations and are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate.

In no event shall Plate Journal or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on our application.
